DIY All-Purpose Cleaner with Lavender
A few years ago, I helped out at a local yoga studio that made its own floor cleaner. One of my tasks was to mix up a new batch whenever the bottle ran empty, and I ended up loving the recipe so much that I started using it in my own home.
This lavender-scented cleaner is incredibly easy to make and works on just about everything—kitchen counters, tables, floors, bathrooms, and even for spot-cleaning carpets. The lavender dish soap smells amazing, and the alcohol gives everything a super fresh, clean feel.
I've included links to where you can purchase the ingredients on Amazon, plus a free printable label to keep on your bottle for easy refills. I hope you love it as much as I do!
What You’ll Need:
1 (32 oz) spray bottle
Mrs. Meyer's Dish Soap (Lavender is my favorite!)
Ethyl rubbing alcohol
Funnel (for easy pouring)
How to Make It:
Add 3 tablespoons of Mrs. Meyer's dish soap to the bottle.
Pour in 4 tablespoons of ethyl alcohol.
Slowly fill the rest of the bottle with water to avoid excess bubbles.
Screw on the spray top, give it a shake, and start cleaning!

To make refills easy, I created a free label with the ingredients listed. You can print it on a label sheet or simply tape it onto your bottle with packaging tape.
