Refreshing Homemade Green Juice

I don’t make juices often, but after the holidays or a weekend of indulging a little too much, I find myself craving something light and refreshing. That’s when I turn to this simple green juice.

I first tried a similar juice at a juice bar, but after realizing how expensive it was, I knew I could easily make it at home for a fraction of the price. It’s packed with fresh ingredients and a boost of vitamins—perfect for a morning reset.

Green Juice Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup chopped green apple

  • 1 large, thick slice of lemon, chopped into pieces

  • ⅓ cup chopped celery

  • 1-inch piece of ginger root, peeled

  • ⅓ cup chopped cucumber

  • A large handful of spinach

  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Strain the mixture into a bowl using a fine mesh colander.

  3. Pour over ice and enjoy!

I love following this up by refilling my glass with water—it keeps that subtle hint of lemon and cucumber going all day long.
